We are Chiara and Lorenzo, brother and sister. We founded our winery in 2015 with one firm decision: not to let go of the most precious legacy we received from our grandfather Francesco Papi, a passion for the vineyard and respect for the volcanic land of the Castelli Romani.

We grew up here, among the vineyards of Monte Compatri, on the slopes of the Latium Volcano. Our playground was grandad’s rows of vines; our first school, his hands grafting, pruning, harvesting. From those same vineyards, today, come wines that speak of the Lazio we are proud of: authentic, contemporary, with a bold character.

Face, voice and relationships

Chiara is the one who opens the winery’s door. Head of marketing, sales and relationships, she is the bridge between our wines and those who want to discover them: importers, distributors, restaurateurs, wine lovers, wine tourism enthusiasts, curious passers-by. If you have questions about the estate, the vintages or our choices, Chiara has a ready answer and always a story to tell.

Lorenzo
Winemaker and soul of the winery

If our bottles have an unmistakable imprint, the credit goes to Lorenzo. The estate’s winemaker, he follows every step of the production cycle: managing the vineyards, decisions in the cellar, choices of vinification and ageing. His is the hand, his is the signature you’ll find in every glass.
