Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order and where can I see its status?
Choose your wines from the catalogue, add them to the cart and complete the purchase: you can order without registering too. You’ll immediately receive a confirmation email and another when the parcel ships. If you have an account, you’ll find orders and addresses on the My account page. The sale of alcohol is reserved for adults: the person receiving the parcel must be of age too.
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Over €90, shipping in Italy is free; below that threshold the cost depends on weight and destination and you’ll see it in the cart before confirming. We deliver by express courier, usually within 24/48 hours of dispatch (up to 5 working days for Sicily, Calabria and Sardinia). Bottles travel in shatter-proof packaging.
Do you ship abroad?
Write to us before ordering, stating the country and quantity: we’ll confirm costs, times and delivery options, which depend on the destination.
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with secure payment. Or by bank transfer: in that case we ship once the payment is received, which must arrive within 7 working days of confirmation, and we ask you to send the receipt to info@eredideipapi.com with the order number. All prices include VAT.
Can I return a product or cancel an order?
Yes. You have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal: write to info@eredideipapi.com with the order number, delivery date and the products to return, and we’ll tell you how to send them back. Bottles must be intact; if you’ve already opened one, the withdrawal applies to the others. To cancel an order that hasn’t shipped yet, contact us right away on WhatsApp or by phone. Details are in the Terms and conditions of sale.
Did the parcel arrive damaged or is something missing?
Check the parcel on delivery and, if you see any damage, sign for it with reservation. Then write to us as soon as possible with the order number and a few photos: we’ll get back to you to sort it out.
How do the video courses work?
They’re bought like any other product and watched online, on any device. If you have an account, the course stays available in your profile with no expiry; if you buy as a guest, you receive a personal link by email to access the lessons. The first video courses are coming soon: on the Video courses page you can leave your email to be notified.
Can I give a wine or a tasting box as a gift?
Of course. At checkout you can enter a shipping address other than your own and add a note for delivery. Our tasting boxes were made to be gifts: two bottles and the accessories to serve them, in a single package.
I'm a restaurateur, wine shop or distributor: how can I order?
For restaurants, wine shops, distributors and importers we have dedicated price lists and terms. Write to us using the form below, choosing “Business partnerships”, or call the winery: Chiara personally handles business relationships.
Can I buy directly at the winery?
Yes: during opening hours you can come to Monte Compatri to buy wine, no booking needed. Tastings, tours and events at the winery are booked on Eredi dei Papi Experience instead.
How quickly do you reply?
Within 2 working days. For urgent requests about an order in progress, use WhatsApp or the phone during opening hours.

How to reach us
By car
From the A1 Rome-Naples motorway: exit at San Cesareo (Roma Sud branch), then take the SS6 Casilina towards Monte Compatri; alternatively exit at Monte Porzio Catone, then follow the Frascati-Colonna road towards Colonna. Follow signs for Via delle Marmorelle 1711: free parking at the winery. From central Rome, about 40 minutes.
By train
Regional line FL6 (Rome Termini-Cassino), Colonna Galleria stop: from there the winery is about 900 metres on foot (10-12 minutes). Trains run roughly every hour: check the timetable on Trenitalia. Coming by train? Let us know in advance: we’ll do our best to make your arrival from the station easier.
By metro
Line C to the Monte Compatri-Pantano terminus (on the Via Casilina). From the terminus, local public transport shuttles run to Monte Compatri: check the timetable in the “Linea C + navetta Metro C” section before leaving, as services are infrequent. Tickets are bought on board. The nearest stop is “Via delle Marmorelle”: ask the driver to let you off at the request stop closest to the winery. Services run Monday to Saturday. Here too, let us know you’re coming and we’ll help you with the last stretch.
